This page is a list of bugs unique to AdventureCraft.
Bugs
- Redstone Power blocks can not be activated by store blocks.
- Sometimes a script that previously works no longer works. It says that it is "missing".
- If you hookshot out then teleport somewhere it doesn't work anymore at all. not even on different maps
- The activated fan texture, dial texture, and the clock in items.png cannot be replaced.
- Sometimes when you click with the quill, you teleport inside the block you clicked. This usually occurs when you are flying.
- The hammer and wrench break blocks at a slower rate when flying. (Default behavior inherited from vanilla Minecraft)
- NPCs will sometimes duplicate. These duplicates do not function, they can't be moved, won't talk, and can't be edited with the NPC stick; they only stand there and have a name. They can be removed using the removemobs command. The cause of this bug is unknown.
- If an NPC is in water or lava when it teleports back to its origin it will start jumping in place.
- If a large amount of bombs are placed next to a NPC and explode at the same time, the NPC will disappear.
- When looking at Store Blocks the sky goes dark.
- Sleeping in a bed gets the player stuck. Reloading fixes this.
- Top side half step blocks show their outline as if they were bottom side half step blocks.
- soundOverrides carry over from map to map regardless of new map sound overrides. Restarting AC will fix this.
- Maps held in the offhand are mirrored and don't update the terrain.
- Holding a map in the off hand and nothing in the main hand makes you have three hands. If you hold an item in one hand and the map in the other, it also shows both.
- There is a memory leak that causes memory usage to climb. Slowly for some, fast for others. It can take anywhere from a few minutes to two hours for one to get a Run Out of Memory error.
- If you set the target of an Inverter Block to itself AC will crash.
- Clicking OnDeath Trigger# in a Customizable Monster Spawner makes the wording change to Trigger#. Exiting the ui fixes this.
- NPCs no longer get given a home position, defaulting to the center of the map
- Stuttering Motion in debug mode (x: 1016 y: 50 z: -23, seems to work fine at lower z values and higher x Values though, but works fine near x:0 y:0) Quarg 01:22, 24 June 2011 (MIST)
- Fan's do not rotate when 32x textures are used
- Outside of debug mode, if you left click a block, particles still come out.
- If you click on downloading maps and clicking back all text got a black background.
- When you download a map from Download maps, then, quickly hit back. And then, hit download maps, it'll be at the loading screen, but, won't load. The only way to fix it is to close AC.
- If you press f4 while a map is loading a big amount of blocks will turn white(including Light Bulbs)
- If you Go out of the map Argeria the buttons will look like the ones in the map
- Birch and Redwood saplings are missing in the palette.
- If an excessive amount of bombs are used, their damage and velocity values gets bugged.
- Changing maps keeps the ui.hudEnabled trait from the last played map and carries it onto the next map you play.
- Spawning in Lava occurs sometimes when you create a level and restarting the game may not help the issue
- Re-saving the current selection on a storage block without first selecting an area to save will cause AC to crash.
- Beds don't load up through the use of storage blocks.
- Store blocks Reset number of trades left when you die. This allows you to abuse many maps.
- Many information buttons in older maps simply display a white screen.
- Array variables do not persist between saves when declared globally in an onNewSave script.
- Insalling error: Could not find main class: ACLauncher. Will exit now.
