The map probably isn't converted to the new format. Put it in your saves folder instead of the maps folder, then load it to convert it, and move it back to the maps folder.
That's a feature in AdventureCraft, when in Adventure Mode, you can't break anything except paintings. Use debug mode to work on maps.
Cryect said we aren't getting multiplayer any time soon, if at all. He removed the multiplayer button to stop people from asking as much.
